James McHone S., M.D. -Retired April 1, 2010
Dr. McHone practiced general orthopaedics with an emphasis on Total Joint Replacement Surgery and Sports Medicine. As a Board Certified charter member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, Dr. McHone meets the guidelines of the AAHKS by performing over one hundred joint replacement annually as he has done for the past fifteen years. He is now retired.

Dr. McHone is a former Army Football team physician and has participated in the athletic programs of Newberry College and the University of South Carolina. He continues to serve as the team physician for several area high schools, while assisting them with their sports medicine programs.

Dr. McHone was selected as South Carolina Volunteer of the Year for his work with Richland Northeast High School. He and his staff have many years of experience providing premium orthopaedic services.
